EraTwine^™

Privacy Policy — placeholder. The full policy is being prepared and will be published here before EraTwine launches.

What we already promise

We never keep a copy of your photos or videos, and nothing is shared unless you share it. The app keeps references to them in your device's library; the photos stay where they are.

Your timeline — eras, events, notes and stories — lives on your device. If you turn on backup, it goes to your own cloud: a private app folder in your Google Drive, or your iCloud private database. It is never stored on an EraTwine server.

Dictation and narration run on your device. Your voice never leaves your phone.

Crash reports are anonymous: no user or device ID and none of your content. Purchases are handled by Apple and Google through RevenueCat, under an anonymous ID; there is no account.

The Google Photos import tool on this site runs in your browser: your Takeout files are read on your computer, and the import files it makes go to your own Google Drive, where the app picks them up and then removes them. EraTwine never receives them.
